We ate there a week ago. We LOVED our waiter. Unfortunately, I don't remember his name.: Nathan or Nathaniel I think but he was fantastic! Funny, Friendly & nice. Please give him a raise. I had the Scallops with frisee and bacon. LISTEN TO ME: YOU MUST KEEP THIS ON THE MENU!!!! It was a special but it was the best meal I HAVE EVER HAD! If I come back to Ithaca and you don't have it, I'll kill myself! I've been talking about it for two weeks! It was SPECTACULAR - I wanted to take an order home. PLEASE MAKE IT A REGULAR CHOICE! I wanted to go to the kitchen and kiss the cook. They were HUGE and the sauce was spectacular. We loved the fireplace and the entire experience was wonderful. I've been telling everyone who will listen to go to John Thomas Steakhouse and order the scallops!!! My husband had a huge "Fred Flintstone" size steak and a mound of garlic mashed potatoes which he also loved! Keep up the good work. And by the way, my screwdriver with peach schnapps was delicious! We love John Thomas Steakhouse!!!!!!
Had a WONDERFUL dinner years ago and hope to come again soon for dinner with my husband. I run the Red Roof Inn hotel in Johnson City, NY and I always mention your restaurant to anyone traveling up your way. So glad to know you aare still in business and from the sounds of things still as tasty as always! Cheers!

My daughter is at Ithaca college so three or four times a year we stay at the inn and dine at your steakhouse.

We have been coming to John Thomas for about 12 years now and it only gets better. My wife and another couple were there last week and had the meal of a lifetime. The porterhouse for two was nothing less than perfect and the acorn squash.... amazing. We had great service and a most memorable evening. Thanks.
I love the look and feel of the new site! John Thomas is a dining experience truly for those that understand what real dry aged meat is all about! After having my first rib eye here a few years ago, nicely charred to perfection while still being delightfully medium rare..mmmmm...now everybody elses rib eye is pot roast!!
